CLASS ATTIRE & FOOTWEAR
Music,
Movement & Play & Mommy and Me:Children may wear comfortable loose fitting play clothing (no jeans please)
and have bare feet (absolutely no socks or tights allowed on floor for safety reasons).
All other classes:Leotard and tights in any color,
skirts are optional. Leotards and tights can be purchased at our studio, Finer Pointes (dancewear shop at 140 Preble Street
in Portland), Target, and Wal-mart. No tights for Acrobatics class, please.· Creative Movement
footwear: Students may dance barefoot or wear pink split sole ballet shoes, which can be purchased at our dance center
($20). Please do not purchase the satin Isotoner-style slippers as they are too slippery on our wood floor and fall of the
dancer’s feet. ·
Ballet/Jazz Combo footwear: Students may opt to
dance barefoot or wear ballet shoes. Students will not need to purchase additional jazz shoes.·
Hip Hop
footwear: Students may wear ballet shoes, jazz shoes, dance sneakers, or clean street sneakers.* Acrobatics: bare feet with a leotard and shorts. WORKSHOP CLASS TUITION & INFORMATION
Per dancer, each 6 Week Session: Mommy
& Me and Music, Movement & Play: $58.00 All other classes: $70.00 · Workshops
are a great way to try a new class, with a smaller time commitment. · Workshops
do not perform in our annual recital. There is no registration fee or costume fee for any of the workshops. ·
Children enrolling in Music, Movement & Play are not required to be potty trained. Children in Creative Movement must
be potty trained. ·
Please call the studio if your child will be absent from class. · Family and friends will be allowed to observe
in classes on the last class of the session. We do have cameras in every classroom and monitors in the waiting room for family
to observe from each week. Parents are not allowed to observe at any other time, with the exception of Mommy & Me
and Music, Movement & Play classes. · If class is cancelled due to inclement weather,
please call the studio or tune in to WCSH 6, WMTW 8 or WGME 13 for cancellations. Classes will be made up at the end of the
session.
