2012-2013 DDC CALENDAR
Tuition is due on the first class of every month. A Late Fee of $10.00 applied
for every week overdue thereafter.
*Holidays: WE ARE OPEN on ALL Monday holidays
*School Teacher Workshop Days: WE ARE OPEN all
school Teacher Workshop and Early Release Days, unless otherwise specified below.
*Snow Days: Please call
the studio for cancellations, or tune into Channel 6, 8 & 13 for postings. Snow
Day Make-Up Schedule will be posted in early March. We make up all snow days during the month of June.
There is one extra class for Tuesday classes in the calendar, so a snow day on a Tuesday will not be made
up.
September
September 4th-10th:

Bring A Friend Week: Students may being a friend to join them in dance classes this week. Permission slips
are enclosed in the Registration Packet, and will also be available at the front desk.
October 31st:
(Wednesday) Halloween: DDC will be closing at 4:30. All classes prior
to 4:30 will be held as scheduled.
November

(Thursday – Wednesday) Family & Friends Observation Week: All classes are open to visitors to observe
the lessons. Please sit in designated areas, turn off cell phones, and keep small children close by so as
not to disturb the classes.

Veteran’s Day: We are OPEN & do have classes
November 12th-17th:
(Monday-Saturday) Teachers measure all students for costumes
this week in classes. We add 2 inches to every measurement to leave room for growth before the Spring recital. Please
let your dancer’s instructor know if you would like us to leave more or less room for growth.
November 20th:
(Tuesday) Last Day to register for Sept-June classes

(Sunday) Recital Tickets go on sale at DDC: 10:00a.m - 4:00p.m.Seating is reserved, tickets are sold
first-come first-served. Tickets remain on sale at DDC during regular business hours until dress rehearsal. Everyone age 1
and over must have a ticket. All dancers receive 1 free ticket for the show they are performing in. Tickets will be also sold
at Dress Rehearsal and at the door, if available. We recommend purchasing tickets as soon as possible in
case of a sell out. May
tuition must be paid before or at the time of ticket purchase. No exceptions.

(Saturday) Picture Day at Drouin Dance Center Bruce Haskell Photography of Saco will be taking each dancer
and class picture in their recital costumes. The Picture Schedule will be outlined in the Recital Packet, and copies of the
schedule will be handed out in class the first week of February.

are open on Saturday, May 25th.
JuneThere is no June tuition payment.
May 28th-31st:
(Tuesday-Friday) Last Week of Tuesday-Friday Classes. These are snow day make up classes.
June 1st:
(Saturday): We are closed for Westbrook Together Days Parade (the street is closed and access to the mill
is blocked). The last day of Saturday classes is May 25th, 2013.
June 3rd:
(Monday) Last Monday class.

4th-6th:
(Tuesday-Thursday) Dress Rehearsal at Westbrook Middle School, 471 Stroudwater Street, Westbrook. Class rehearsal
dates and times vary, the schedule will be outlined in the Recital Packet and copies will be handed out in classes the first
week of February.
